Live music red tape lifted for small venues - Mon 1 Oct 2012

Announced today is a change in law in respect of venues with a capacity of under 200 people, which will now no longer need a licence for live amplified music. Live unamplified music can also now be played in any location under the act, with no restriction on audience numbers. Live music can only be played between the hours of 8am and 11pm.
