Eric Jackson

A Non - Executive President (who may be invited to meetings) is appointed/elected by the members at its Annual General Meeting.
The Honorary President Chairs the Annual General Meeting during the election of the Chairman.
PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY.
Eric spent his working life in the mining industry, rising to become the Senior Development Engineer to a manufacturer of mining equipment.
Eric regularly visited mines in the UK, Germany and the USA where the companies equipment was being developed and worked.
Eric was awarded the Bronze Medal within the Association of MEM Engineers.
Eric was President or the Mining Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in the East Midlands.
In Eric's singing life he has been the Chairman of the Midlands East Group (formerly Group 10) for many many years, and has also been the Chairman of the NAC before being elected to the position of President of the NAC.
Eric has been a proud singing member of the Gresley MVC for over 35 years and was in 2008 awarded a Vice Presidency of Luton MVC.
