London Sangerstevne 2011 - Fri 13 to Sun 15 May 2011
Venue: St. Mathews Church, North Common Rd, Ealing, London, W5 2QA
Your Choir is invited to sing at the London Sangerstevne 2011 - a non-competitive choral festival which sees singers from across Europe and beyond take part in a series of free public concerts.
Youth and adult choirs from the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia and the United Kingdom have taken part in previous years, and your choir is today invited to attend this popular event - either as festival participants or members of the audience.
Next year's London Sangerstevne will be held on the weekend of 13th, 14th and 15th May 2011, with the main festival taking part on the Saturday in Ealing, West London. You may attend for all or part of the festival weekend.
The schedule for the Saturday main festival is as follows:
Concert 1: 1.00 pm - 2.45 pm
Concert 2: 3.15 pm - 5.00 pm
Concert 3: 5.30 pm - 7.00 pm
Concert 4: 7.30 pm - 9.00 pm
Note:
(1) Participation Fees: £2 per singer. The charge includes a complimentary copy of the official festival programme for each singer and registered choirs can also sing in concerts on the Friday evening or Sunday afternoon at no extra charge.
(2) Associate Concerts: Choirs with overlapping events can choose to promote their concerts in association with the London Sangerstevne. See attached flyer for details.
(3) Friends of the Sangerstevne: Would you like to help host the festival weekend? Would your choir be interested in placing an advert in the programme? For details on how to support the London Sangerstevne, see attached flyer.
